Welcome to my Letterbox Clues blog. Here you will find the clues to many of my letterboxers, usually accessible through Atlas Quest. Although finding letterboxes is my main interest, I do occasionally get into a "planting" mood and this blog grows considerably when this happens. I hope that you enjoy finding my boxes and send me an email when you do locate them to tell me how they are doing. Happy Boxing!

Ruth's Chestnut
Read the Rules and Regulations and note that there is hunting allowed in this little park. A hunter actually tried to chase me away because he didn't want to be disturbed. The nerve!
After you finish reading all of the fine print, note the muddy little trail beside the sign board.
When you get to the 15 foot snag with the top part of the tree laying across the faint trail...
Better view of snag.
Cross over the tree top.
And look to your left for a very obvious shag bark hickory.
This is shag bark! I wonder where it got its name.
Now that you found it, check out its backside.
South of the Border, Down Mexico Way
Park in lot.
Pass this marker.
West end of first railing on southern side of Mexico Road.
Maintenance done on 2/5/19. Look no further if you don't want a spoiler.
