The Girl in the Moon

Total hike is about a mile and a half on a rocky but level trail.
Park in this brand new convenient parking lot!  Several horses and buggies went by the day I was there and as I enjoyed watching them, the drivers all waved to me.  I gave them the courtesy of not taking their pictures as I waved back.
Take the stone path from the parking lot into the woods and walk till you see the trailmarker below.
Take the Compass Quarry trail (yellow arrows) to the right.
Walk about a quarter of a mile following the yellow blazes and arrows and begin to notice the landmarks below.  You will see lots of Pooh bear trees, the one below is on the left.
BIG rock formation, I think this is quartz.
Chopped down tree touching the trail on the right.
Blazed Y tree touching the trail on the right.
Root end of another tree touching the trail on the right.
Rock in the trail itself, now pay attention, you are getting close.
Monument of some sort, there was no writing that I could discern on it but I am sure it has some historical value or they wouldn't have marked it with the symbolic metal post.  Stop here.
Look into the woods, 18 steps off trail at the downed tree.
 See it?
OK, now walk to it and look under the root end.  The Girl in the Moon has taken up living here.  Please use only blue ink.
If you go here, pay attention!  The day I placed this, I also found two other boxes along this same trail.  In my letterboxing history, I have now found 16 boxes in this preserve.
